1. Service Agreements
All landscaping services are provided based on written estimates or verbal agreements confirmed via email or text message. Quotes are estimates only and final pricing may vary based on actual site conditions, weather factors, or additional client requests discovered during service execution. Forte Landscapes reserves the right to adjust pricing with client approval before proceeding with additional work.
2. Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise arranged in writing. We accept cash, check, and all major credit cards. For projects exceeding $500, a 50% deposit may be required to secure scheduling. Late payments incur a 5% monthly service charge. All prices are subject to applicable sales tax.
3. Scheduling & Weather Policy
We make every effort to arrive at scheduled times. Weather conditions (including extreme heat, storms, or snow), equipment issues, or unforeseen circumstances may cause delays or rescheduling. Clients will be notified promptly of any changes. For snow removal services, operations begin after 2 inches of accumulation and may be delayed during active storms for safety reasons.
4. Service Areas & Travel Fees
Our primary service area includes Davis County, Weber County, Salt Lake County, and Morgan County. Properties located more than 25 miles from our Layton base may incur additional travel fees ($1.50/mile beyond 25 miles). We will disclose any travel fees before confirming service.
5. Property Access & Safety
Clients must provide safe access to work areas and disclose any underground utilities, septic systems, or irrigation lines before service begins. Forte Landscapes is not responsible for damage to hidden utilities or personal property left in work areas. We carry general liability insurance but recommend clients maintain their own property insurance.
6. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations require 24 hours notice for standard services and 72 hours for large projects. Same-day cancellations incur a $75 fee. Forte Landscapes may cancel services with immediate notice due to unsafe conditions (extreme weather, hazardous property conditions, etc.) with no penalty to the client.
7. Limitation of Liability
While we take every precaution to protect your property, Forte Landscapes is not liable for: pre-existing property conditions, damage from natural events (storms, pests, disease), or plants/materials provided by the client. Our liability is limited to the total value of the specific service agreement.

8. Agreement to Terms
By requesting services from Forte Landscapes, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service. We reserve the right to modify these terms with 30 days notice posted on our website. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
